Ran across a social media post by some dude called Young Turks where he was saying that Tucker Carlson may soon be arrested for talking with some Iranians before the war started. Which seemed like some nonsense because that would be absolutely insane if he were to be arrested as a journalist. But then I checked news feeds for the information and several have cited that Carlson is making this claim himself. What is going on?

I donāt like or trust anything this guy says. He has outright pimped falsehoods for money and market share. He is nothing more than fake news. His piece on Russia was un-American.

I liked Tucker when he was on fox years ago but heās gone to far off the deep end for me.

I am not a fan of him either however he is a journalist so I am having a serious hard time with him facing charges for his journalism, even if itās un-American. For me this becomes an attack on our 1st Amendment if the Federal Government is going to openly go after Journalists. For me this is right up there with charging Don Lemmon for documenting the Church protest.

But even if he has gone off the deep end what possible harm could he have caused with talking to some Iranians? Dude is a journalist with a Youtube channel, itās not like he is sitting in on National Security briefings or has access to Federal Government security information. He is not an elected official, just a US Citizen which for me is very concerning if this is True. And I am going to say āIFā because it could be quite possible that Tucker is blowing this up to get media attention. Which in all honesty could be the case, however if he is arrested I am going to put that into one more case of this Administration trying to silence their critics using the Heavy Hand of Government. Which everyone should be afraid about.

In the United States, Trump invented the idea of locking up his political adversaries not based on crimes because he could never articulate what the crime was on the person he is targeting. But because they were his adversary. And I will be honest this has always been weird for me, when people like you, would chant āLock them upā but canāt even say why. I mean in 2016 for Hillary it was because of her e-mail server. Yet trump could never explain what law Hillary broke, nor could the US Government because there clearly was no law preventing what she did. But you all sat around chanting ālock her upā as if because you truly believed something, it should happen. Which is quite frightening to be honest, to think because you can convince a large swath of the population to believe something, then it should be law even when itās Unconstitutional. And now we have hit the point I knew would eventually come, that it would be Conservatives who would eliminate our Constitutional rights. As a Libertarian I have always known it will be Conservatives who kill the Constitution and then sit around looking stupid because everything they did to limit the freedom of others would eventually be used against them and the 2nd Amendment. You all going on and on about Voter ID for people who proved citizenship when they registered to vote, have no idea what it will look like when you need a Gun ID. And the Left already had this all drafted up in the hopes the Supreme Court decides that you need an ID to perform a right. Because once that drops, then you will need an ID every time you want to touch your firearm, and the only way the Government can make that happen is by making it a law that all firearms must be secured in a Government facility and you must show ID to check your firearm out. Look at every country that has moved from citizens having the right to carry firearms to citizens having the right to own firearms and itās the same. Government telling you that your Constitutional right is still in tact, you just need to show ID first.
Hey, with Hagseth running the show, you never know. If he were on a bender and decided to talk to everyone on Signal, there is no way he would have added Tucker by accident. Divulged some top-secret info of an ongoing mission. We all know nothing like this could ever happen. After Tuckers outstanding coverage of Russia and false reporting on Fox News, I have complete faith in his journalistic integrity.
