People need to step back and ask themselves why oil, gas, solar, wind, nuclear, etc has become so politically charged, with almost religious zealotry. Why is it “masculine” to love oil and hate on everything else? Maybe because there are trillions of dollars at stake every year and massive propaganda machines in place to protect those trillions? Think. Use those brains God gave you.

I found all these videos talking about and explaining nuclear power and why its so great. I would highly recommend watching them if you can find the time as they debunk a lot of the fake news and misconceptions surrounding nuclear energy.

Her is the absolute truth about OIL! Oil works because the infrastructure, distribution and technology are all there to make it effective. And then the low information voters get their panties in an bunch about the money the oil industry makes.
Yeah that’s brilliant…. You mean the gobs of money that they take in and then use to pay out GREAT salaries for folks with many levels of skills who in turn use that money to feed the economy by buying cars, going to restaurants, paying for their kids educations, get haircuts, have their lawns mowed, and also pay taxes that refill our country’s coffers and funds programs like Social Security and Medicare for all of us??? And then the “profits” are reinvested into bettering the company, hiring MORE people and paying dividends to stock holders who do the same as the employees??? What is wrong with THAT!!! This is only an issue to stupid people that have zero knowledge of how a free market economy and a Democracy work.
Hating alternative forms of energy is not some sort of a “masculine” thing. Thats just the uninformed view of our fact and information based opinions.
NO ONE that thinks critically hates any form of energy, what we HATE is waste and corruption like the government having to take money out of my pocket to subsidize technologies and ventures that are not cooked yet. I have to pay for my car, and I ALSO have to pay taxes so some guy can get $7,500 towards buying his EV too?!?!?! Absolutely absurd!
And then there is Solyndra, Obama’s solar energy panel scam and $528,000,000 corrupt gift to his friends. And the BILLONS OF $$$s that were spent during his tenure on solar farms in Nevada and California that are being shut down and declared obsolete just over ten years after being brought online and never made any money, AND now no one knows what to do with the thousands of acres of panels and mirrors polluting what was once pristine desert. Basically a monument to human feel-good stupidity and government corruption.
How bout every windmill in the USA that has never produced enough electricity to pay for itself? And now that those propeller blades are coming to the end of their usable life and have to be replaced, they are just cutting them up and placing them in dumps that no one knows how to deal with. Anyone worried about plastic straws has never seen sections of windmill blades stacked high that will NEVER degrade or be able to reuse or recycle…
Nope, this has never been about hating alternatives. It’s about hating scams, corruption and half baked solutions that don’t work.
