You are really an idiot for posting this drivel here.
Drivel?
Nope. It’s true. Quack Quack has said this on numerous occasions.
So…
Can he do it?
You won’t be able to goad me into giving the answer – which you don’t know to begin with.
Well, it appears that Trump cannot give Police absolute immunity. That would not be good.
The straw that broke the camel’s back
Anyone who’s bothered to read the Constitution understands the President cannot do this, nor an act of congress. Qualified immunity lies with the individual states, and must certainly be very narrowly defined, cuz cops ain’t our friends, they will violate your civil rights in a heartbeat if whomever pays them tells them to.
And yes, this video is drivel.
Trump thinks he can do it.
He also thinks he can rewrite the First Amendment to make flag burning a crime.
Trump is brilliant. Brilliant people often come up with some pretty crazy ideas they need to just keep to themselves.
Trump loves the police because, as a rich person, the cops kiss his arse, just like they do here in the small town I live near. To a person like Trump, your local police department is just a place you give some money to and they kiss your butt and protect you. Which they actually do for the rich. So, naturally Trump thinks all cops are like this everywhere, so what in the world is everyone complaining about?! Well, Trump, the cops don’t do to us like they do to you, so you wouldn’t know.
My Governor Kristi Noem has this problem as well. A good looking girl who grew up privileged and doing as she pleases, who’s smile alone has opened so many doors for her. She doesn’t get why you wouldn’t want one of her precious cops to lie to you and use you for a punching bag if they feel like it.
Actually, I thought the video informative. Southern Drawl Lawyer came to the same conclusion you did. He did the video because a lot of people are concerned about Trump’s rhetoric on these items.
He didn’t do anything like this in the first 4 years, I doubt he’ll do it in this 4 years.
I should have known better than open this thread!
Actually, until the Vietnam protest phase burning of a U.S. flag was punished as a crime. It was determined then by the courts that it was a legitimate expression of free speech.
