Not his speech pattern.

Also not posted on his account, but by a 3rd party.

Fun, and will definitely get under the lefts skin like a tic!

But fake.

Just my 2.5 cents.

Would any sensible CEO do it differently?

Charlie Kirk is a fairly reputable source.

I’ll watch it again when I wake up, but it certainly doesn’t feel right,…

Especially since he hasn’t even appointed his cabinet,…

The timing of such an announcement is off by months at best….

You were at least partially right to be suspicious. Upon further investigation (As prompted by you) I found that this video actually aired in March of 2023. It is real though. Charlie Kirk merely re-posted, to remind us of what’s to come.

When Trump first ran for office, he gave a speech at Gettysburg where he outlined what he would do in his first 100 days in office. #1 in his list was a promise to introduce a Constitutional amendment to impose term limits on Congress and the Courts. He obviously did not do that even though he said it was the #1 thing he would do.

What the Orange man says he will do when he is pandering for votes and what he actually does are two very different things. I will believe his 10 point plan/promises to dismantle the deep state as just another lie.

What I have found, is what people who dislike Trump say he has said, and what he has actually said, are two very different things.

Here is President Trump’s Gettysburg address from 2016. I read the entire 1780 word speech looking for the things you mentioned and found no mention of any of it. Care to point out to the folks here where your truth lies?

Replace “orange man” with “politician” and you have a statement that has proven true 99.99% of the time throughout history. Regardless of skin or political party color.

That’s not Trump’s Gettysburg address where he lays out his promises. You failed to view the actual speech and now chide me for in accuracies about what the Orange man plainly promised to do

Here’s the video of his 100 day promises.

Speech: Donald Trump - Gettysburg, PA - October 22, 2016

His promises start at 26 minutes – he describes them as a promise between Donald J Trump and the American people, BTW. 26:46 is the first promise to introduce a Constitutional amendment to impose term limits.

What happens in politics when a candidate makes promises and then does not keep them is his staff scrubs the media to eliminate the promises as if they were never made. NewSpeak and revisionist history in that would make Huxley proud.

You know what Mark,
I’m a big enough man to admit when I make a mistake. My first mistake was going to a left leaning source (Huff post) to find information.
The website below evaluates news sites for their bias. Huff Post is about as left leaning as you can get.
https://www.allsides.com/news-source/huffpost-media-bias
I apologize for taking information from a left leaning news site as gospel.

That said, I have found a TIME article that states he DID introduce a constitutional amendment to Congress, According to the article, “His campaign proposed a six-year limit for the House and a 12-year cap for the Senate.”

Thus, promise made, promise kept.

Obviously, Congress decided to defeat the measure. We still do not have term limits.

As for his staff “scrubbing the media to eliminate the promises as if they were never made”, I am pretty sure that is not the case here.

In actuality, he eliminated 8 per new regulation instead of 2.
