Trivia questions of any flavor

Oldest writings have been known to exist were written in China and Middle East. One is the Dead Sea scrolls, AKA, the Bible. Chinese writings are excepted but the Bible is, by some, not considered history.
If the matter of the distinction of dinosaurs came about when Noah had built the Ark and species of man were destroyed like the Bible says. The firmament, a body of water in the atmosphere that protected the earth and gave life a longer existence, thus a person could live to be 900 years old, as well as any land creature growing to an unusually large size, The elimination of the dinosaurs is a proven fact, and their extinction did happen all at once. This action destroyed the firmament and since life has not lasted as long because of it.
Now this being said, is it a thing of faith to believe in the word left behind and later found to be believed in or is it just fact?

Hill won 196 field-archery tournaments in a row. His fame preceded him to the point where if other competitors saw his name already registered, they’d either just leave, or stick around to watch the shooting. He stopped competing in the '40s, when he couldn’t overcome accusations of cheating!

Not too much it went thru his heart

“CRIKEY! I’m DEAD!” I said it was sick.

@KURT17 > what did he have covered up while filming :question:PS: this isn’t me.

@KURT17 >> wake up sleepy Mr. Kurt.

Uh - he forgot to put on his pants? I just know the story of how he was cast - previously, he made a film for Disney - DARBY O’GILL AND THE LITTLE PEOPLE. I saw it when I was a little kid. Want to know the story? I also know he couldn’t get toupees thin enough for his liking, and drove the makeup people nuts.

Didn’t know about the wig. He had a tattoo that said Mum & Dad that they covered with make up.

Here’s the casting story - Saltzman and Broccoli were all set up to film, but they hadn’t cast Bond, yet. Ian Fleming wanted David Niven, but he was considered too genteel for the part. One day when they were walking down a particular street, Connery bounded out of his agent’s office, down the stairs right in front of them, and film history was made.

The film was VIVA ZAPATA! (1952) - Marlon Brando, Jean Peters, Anthony Quinn - a fictionalized story about the Mexican revolutions of the early 1900s. Quinn won his 1st Oscar as Eufemio, Emiliano Zapata’s brother.

Wrist- and finger-slings allow the web of your hand to act as a fulcrum for more precision in target shooting. You don’t have to fully grasp the bow to keep from dropping it - your thumb and index finger provide the only hand pressure you need for each shot.

P. S. - Some of these questions were why I was urging you to go to a straight-limb bow - simplicity and stability, without having to rely on add-ons. When you add up all the advertising over the years, bows should be shooting at 500 fps or more, which is just impossible.
