Hello,
I have a very old Mossberg 500 (approx 50 years) and I took it down the other day to clean it. I put it back together and the hammer engaged, did it twice, so I was satisfied that it was working. The next day it wouldn’t shoot, so I took it back down, removed the trigger assembly, and the trigger wouldn’t release the hammer. I’m not sure how to troubleshoot the issue any recommendations would be great.
