It appears that the Democrats want to impose another type of gun control, one of litigation, whether by this method or by legislation, both put the blame on the wrong people. Your input?

I really hate to say this but, it feels like gun owners are getting pushed back into a corner and we all know what happens when you corner and threaten anything.
I really hope it does not come to something like that and cooler heads and common sense prevail.

It is just the Democrats way of causing firearms dealers to get “tied up” in continuous and costly litigation to damage the financial stability of the firearms market which will result in firearms dealers going bankrupt by a “thousand cuts.” They could care less of “victims having their day in court.”
Similar tactics the Democrats are currently using to force banks not to loan $$$ to anyone in the firearms industry. Some States are also requiring any business seeking a contract job with them to declare their involvement with firearms organizations.
Democrats have been empowered by the far left and are trying, desperately, to take full advantage
of this presumed opportunity.

They’re opening a door for every manufacturer of everything to be blamed. Car wreck sue the manufacturer, get hurt using a saw sue the manufacturer.
If you’re going to blame one inanimate object you have to blame them all.

Sigh… When will they realize you can’t have a free society that legislates based on what one person ‘might’ do… Makes as much sense as giving all sports car owners a speeding ticked, cause, you know, they might speed.
Hmmm… can we hold the legislators liable for the results of laws that don’t work?

I don’t seem to follow the trend of blaming one party or the other, when it comes to laws. Each one does their own dirty under handed deeds, and viewed differently by each person. Laws being made to take away my right to freely carry, own, shoot. My guns is a everyone in government problem. I stand behind the people who fight for us civilized, responsible gun owners. ( I lost my train of thought )

As long as Republicans control the US Senate Mitch McConnell won’t bring the bill up very likely for a floor vote. If the House of Representatives flips back Republican and The current administration is elected to a second term the bill will die. If we don’t support republicans a year from next month or at the minimum get to the polling place and vote republican then I guess the old cliche will apply that we get what we ask for. That’s one of the reasons how republicans lost the House of Representatives because of apathy or people were upset with their Congress person and secondly gerrymandering districts for one’s greater benefit.

That’s the Democrats for you. They put the blame where it shouldn’t go. If there is a mass shooting, instead of blaming the culprit, they blame the NRA, Trump, guns, gun manufacturers, and Trump supporters.

The Democrat Party has tried Historically to take guns away unsuccessfully since 1865 at the end of the Civil War in America so let us hope and (pray if you believe in God)
