Well look at the crowd that went into the capital did they get more bold as they went Yes! If they broke in you 300 reference will come into play and you would be justified ! But if your out side you would be retreating which usually emboldens mobs to chase. The low hanging fruit is vandalism , the real meat is a murder. Your holed up in your house and they break in your front door they get what they deserve. Bird shot is good crowd suppression not especially lethal but especially not it can suppress a large number at a distance that or a paint ball gun loaded with cs balls you spray those out and they don’t want that problem
