If you read what I posted, it stated “As soldiers attempted to disarm members of the Lakota Tribe, a gun was accidentally discharged, and U.S. soldiers opened fire. A battle quickly ensued[.]” If they were attempting to disarm them, that means they did have arms. Obviously not all, though. Not stating that the situation was just or right, just those are the facts.

Yes, they’re are bad people everywhere even in church.
However there are more good people in Church than bad.
I once heard it said that " the only thing that Church goers sitting the in the Pews have in common is that they are all sinners." That is true as us Church goers seek “forgiveness” as we are far from perfect.

Let us compare the cash plates … how much money did hateful BLM and ANTIFA, KKK raise to destroy and fuel hatred ? Did they help anyone? Did you see BLM’S Purse or ANTIFA’s Purse, KKK Purse to feed those people after a tornado, hurricane or other disasters?
No all those funds were raised and used for Political Funds.
I do not attend Church to listen to political nonsense. If political nonsense is being spewed in a Church I am leaving.
I am so tired of hearing about how bad white people are … but I am not trying to change anyone’s mind or push a PC narrative.

Looking into whether or not a Medal of Honor was bestowed to someone due it over a hundred years AFTER the fact is completely irrelevant!
We should be looking back at that time and thinking how much things have changed, hopefully how much we have grown and evolved as a nation!
Our history is written, nothing can change that, and no political agenda seeking to grave-rob heroes of their day will ever change the fact that it happened…. And it was lauded by the government of the time!
Seriously, this is like ISIS when they decided to start destroying archaeological sites because the people who built them didn’t agree with their ideology!

What kind correction? No-one is alive today who was there. Why should we punish great-grandchildren over things that happened almost 150 years ago? Yes, we acknowledge history, good and bad. The bad we should remember so we don’t repeat them but punishing current population for things they had nothing to do with makes no sense.
Meanwhile we have abhorrent things going on right now, by high ranking officials, that is not investigated nor punished. Perhaps the focus should be there.
