Socialism and communism have claimed 100M plus lives of those that disagree. That same attitude is alive and well today among liberals and our progressive left including too damn many politicians. There is a recent topic about silencers. Owning an inanimate object can get you a lot of grief. Assault or injure ICE, Law Enforcement or for that matter National guard and out next day “cashless bail.” 10 or more felonies and you’re still on the street if your politics or motives are “left enough.” They throw a brick, ok, totally acceptable. You brandish to warn them off, a year and $10K fine. Hate to say it, but time our side took a different attitude. We also need to make it perfectly clear, hating hostile or immoral actions is not racist or anything else. If you want to kill me, burn my business, hurt my family, and I speak out or act against such threats that is not an attack on a people, religion, race or whatever, it’s an attack on pure evil that in a civilized society we should all embrace. This is starting to remind me of a termite infestation. You don’t want your house destroyed, you can’t negotiate, so you tent the house and in several days, peace. It’s going to be interesting as the water gets near a boil how we respond. Tent the place (organize and vote them all out) take our country back, or capitulate and lose this country forever.

We need voting reform before we can have any hope of beating them consistently with votes. Currently, the DOJ is dealing with 14 blue states that won’t give up their voter rolls. Why would that be?

I know a lot of Republicans that have been threatened by other Republicans. I could provide articles, but it is easy to look up. I don’t see this as just one group. I am sorry, but both sides have nutty uncles. If you think it is just one-sided, then I think you should look for a new news source. one more towards the middle that has actual people who went to school for journalism.
This is very true, also the way you define the said situation Is what lends credence to the argument of racism, though. I really like the immoral part where you say it is not racist or “ANYTHING ELSE.” Man, do I take heat for bringing up the Epstein files. That act seems immoral to me. Apparently that makes me a Democrat for doing so.
Not sure about this one; I think Kyle became something of a hero for shooting 3 people in Portland. LOL But I do agree with the premise of what you are saying. There are a lot of unfair events that take place on both fronts. I am sure both sides believe it is disproportional in their direction, given the news no longer gives you facts but their opinions. Each side seems to be stoking the divide so you are too busy looking at each other instead of looking at them. As they pass all kinds of stuff to line their pockets and those of their contributors.

No doubt there are crazies on both sides of the proverbial isle, but you can’t deny there are more crazy threats and calls for, and actual, violence from the left. It’s been seen even in the media on almost a daily basis. Even John Fetterman just went through how he is getting threats from the left. Death threats, wishing that doctors hadn’t saved him, etc. because he voted to end the government shutdown.

So true, just like those states that were Republican-run that would not find the votes for Trump. All those people had death threats from their own party. Even Whitmer, a Dem, was going to be abducted and possibly killed for her beliefs.
I wish you could look this up. One thing I saw said it was close to equal. I am going to research this again and see if there are any credible studies out there. I am sure what news outlet you listen to will portray it one way or the other.
Hey, who knows? I wish I could trust the media to tell the actual truth about things. It is very possible the left is to blame for more. I just wish to read reports before I believe the news media for anything.
Talking about news media here is something that makes me raise an eyebrow.
Pentagon Rules Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth introduced rules requiring Pentagon press pass holders to sign contracts acknowledging information must be “approved for public release” before reporting, effectively banning solicitation of military officials and access to certain areas without escort.
Major news organizations (like CNN, Fox News, AP, etc.) refused to sign the Pentagon pledge, viewing it as a gag order and a prior restraint on journalism, leading to their exclusion. I guess freedom of the press just got taken out by the leader of the WAR DEPARTMENT.
Freedom of press has to be limited in certain circumstances because of national security.
While this has been an extremely transparent administration, we don’t need a live feed broadcasting our national security apparatus to our enemies.

I totally agree. So why does Pete Hegseth use Signal and have a report in the chat? I am so glad the reporter had the integrity not to run with the plans and put our boys in harm’s way. Then used Signal again. I believe this action has less to do with national security and more to do with being able to report gaffes like this. There are already things in place to keep the press out of sensitive areas. To me this kind of behavior is unconscionable for someone of his position.
All I had to do was to watch CNN and MSNBC shows to see and hear calls for actual violence from guests and even hosts. I did not typically hear such from guests and hosts on conservative shows.

Marjorie Taylor Green had no death threats until she turned on Trump and she immediately had to hire 24/7 security. As much as the left hated her, she was perfectly safe. MAGA are the group doxing it’s own people if they step out of line. Turning Point is big on doing this.

So in Florida right now, there is a move to lower housing costs overall.
Republicans want to lower property taxes. The state has more than enough money to function, so their logic is to give back to the people and lower taxes.
Last night on the news I saw a Democrat (one of the few remaining here) describing the Democrat party’s opposition to lowering taxes. Her assertion is that the state legislature should be somehow magically lowering insurance costs as a way to improve house affordability.
Now, mind you, the state doesn’t need the tax money. Insurance is a private enterprise (for the most part, except the state run Citizens insurance for people who can’t buy private insurance), the legislature already passed a major bill aimed at reducing insurance fraud, which, in turn, will lower costs, and tax reduction will have an immediate, real effect.
So, to summarize:
Republican approach- lower taxes and don’t take more than we need to run the state.
Democrat approach- collect more tax than we need, then regulate the private insurance industry to force their prices down, even if it bankrupts them, then sell everyone state run Citizens insurance.
