There’s a case in North Carolina, right now, where a school had an assembly to celebrate transgender rights and a cross-dressed man did a lap dance on a female student, dangling his genitals on her in front of the student body. There is a video, but YouTube is blocking it because it features sexually explicit acts with a minor. But the school denies it did anything wrong, and parents who complain are being shouted down and called typical names.
This is kind of where we’re at, right now. It’s less about LGBTQ issues specifically, it’s more about protecting children. But predators are using one set of issues to mask their crimes, and woke parents are left watching like deer in the headlights as wolves consume their children.

Guess I’ll need to read up on Canadian laws if I ever go there. Don’t remember seeing any exemptions for sexual orientation or gender identities in all of the US assault laws I have read.
Edit to add: I couldn’t find any articles on a recent incident in Canada. Did come across a couple of older incidents though. I did find an article in the Toronto Sun about a recent incident in North Carolina. Not sure why schools are sponsoring sexually explicit events. Especially where underaged students are being subjected to being part of the show?

Ah. But one caveat. The TSA agent in question was a BLACK WOMAN. So how will things unfold? You see the Left, according to their “rules”, can’t attack a POC under any circumstances lest they anger the black community. Even Ye24 cannot be touched by the Left. He can be disassociated but he cannot be attacked. Irony has it’s day.

Groomers and trans people are not the same. I’ve seen grooming first hand. Church leaders, sports coaches, local government officials… Primarily just millennials who really really want to seem inclusive or leftists with a numbers agenda.

Let’s drop the pretense of violence or threats. The majority of the trans community I know in my area (South Carolina) are shut ins with anxiety disorders and/or PTSD (about half, and unrelated to identity). I do outreach because of the massive concomitant substance issues and homelessness trans people exhibit, so I have one of the most extensive networks of actual trans people that isn’t based on social media.
You can call it fear but it’s really just harsh, often harmful (literally) prejudice that the word transphobia is referencing. Your post has some perfect examples. I won’t bother getting into the weeds with your flippant dismissal of a whole group of people with a documented and serious medical condition: gender dysphoria as simply crazy (to phrase in brief). That’s not a fruitful line of discussion, especially with a crazy gun nut veteran (see what I did there? it’s eazy). I just want to hammer in on how you had to bring it back to people’s genitals, when (I’m not currently able to scroll up and check, forgive me if I’m mistaken) I’ve already clowned on the bizarre fascination reactionary conservatives have with specifically girl dick. Gock (a portmanteau). Shemale dong. Whatever you are used to seeing it called in your search bars.
It’s really not that hard to let trans people be, even if you refuse to distinguish between the social roles we call gender and biological sex (which again, is not so simple even if intersex folk like me are extremely rare).
How often do any of you meet a trans person and actually know they’re trans? And how much of a bother are they? I’m going to assume the answers are almost never and not much at all.
Actually, I know way too many trans veterans and service members, maybe GrayMan is inundated with really annoying and desperately lonely transwomen. In that case we can relate on something

If you put a priest and a rabbi in a room. At no point will one stand up, raise their hands over their heads, and yell “I convert.” No need to try to change people here. It is/was one of the only corners on the Internet that is/was worth coming to.
There are too many international privacy tours going on. People who don’t actually want to be a bother usually aren’t.

I’ll say something really spicy: black men need to stop assaulting trans women, and deal with their own internalized homophobia and shaky masculinity in a nonviolent fashion. It’s a problem but good luck finding reports on it.
Do I have any suggestions to fix the issue? Not really. I don’t really have much experience with the topic either, unless you count getting asked out all the time.
I got my own ■■■■ to wipe, left or right, don’t matter to me what the race bait smells like this week. So what if the TSA was a black woman? Did she indicate this was some convoluted race incident? Probably not.
We got enough issues to take petty sides over, save race for when it’s relevant again (god help us all if it ever is)

I’m not looking for converts. I’m a concealed carrier and I pay my membership dues just like you. All the same issues concern me as a gun owner and in a forum like this I have just as much of a right to state whatever opinions I feel like. Same as you Brad. If a fresh take ruins the whole board for you, then that’s rough considering I post once every other week for like an hour maybe. In off topic discussions…

That is rare. You shouldn’t say this as if “Intersexed” people are running around everywhere. This guy has a mental disease when he believes he is a woman and should be treated as such.

Honestly this thread just caught my eye early on and at this point I’m just responding to replies when I have too much free time. It’s good practice for me in my day to day. Sadly discussions are almost non-existent these days, it’s all clout chasing and bad faith optics posturing.

Hypothetically, what if no one could tell? Would it still be a big deal? It’s not like they aren’t still a person after all. If we use mental diseases as the criteria, why not bully autistic children and elders with dementia?

No. I don’t care what anybody does. It’s just stories like this when girly men want people like me to share in and support their mental delusions. I don’t and I won’t. They need professional help and when you say that it is like you have done something wrong. It is sickening. I taught my children that it is wrong and they taught theirs that it is wrong.
