Things are changing - Slow but Important

Jan 2nd I went for a physical, the doctor told me “you’re 5’-10 223#, obese, you need to loose weight”. So, I lost some weight, today 189#.
So now that my muffin top is shrinking I noticed my EDC moved from 5:00 O’clockish to 4:00 O’clock minus. It’s more comfortable moved a bit towards the front. I do drills from time to time but I hadn’t actually timed them. So, " loaded up my MantisX and gave it a try. Surprisingly, my times are slightly faster, went from 1.7 to about 1.5 second first shot. (This may not be because of weight lose- change in location, could simply be from practice)
Just one of those things that you may not think about that could have an effect on your draw and target acquisition.

Chicken Broccoli, Brown Rice and 4 days a week at the gym. Oh and no more 1lb bags of Hot Tamales and Recesses Pieces…

Congrats !

As we know - less extra movement, faster draw… Hopefully one day you will be able to carry EDC at somewhere between Appendix - 3:00 and your first shot time will shrink to 1:20 sec. :crossed_fingers:
