Your mention of the BOOMING Metropolis of Clovis, NM brought tears to my eyes in remembrance of the good times and bad times I had while impris…er…I mean…being stationed there. Yeah STATIONED there. That’s what I meant. I was stationed at Cannon AFB in Clovis after spending 3 years the in soggy old England. It took me two years in NM to dry out.

We drove all the way down there from Albuquerque to see the White Sands Missle Range! (Closed to the Public!) Terrific! From the Desert to White Sand Dunes (a change of scenery huh? Saw a ‘Just Married’ couple get ‘Busted’ by the entire Police Force for taking some Souvenir sand! you can’t fix S…oh forget it! '… :blush:

My son still owns a house in in Alamogordo, his mother in law live in it now. I spent quite a bit of time there when I was doing work out on the lab.
