> From AR-15 restrictions to Catholic preschool funding, the Supreme Court faces blockbuster cases testing Second Amendment and religious freedom limits.

“What the court said it’s going to look at is whether these are weapons that are in common use and have lawful purposes, and so this is the court’s opportunity to look at things like the popular AR-15 type rifle and decide is this something that qualifies as something that’s in common-use and therefore is protected by the Second Amendment.”

When one looks at what is common use for protection one has to look at the people that protect us like the police and military.

Is the AR-15 in “common use”? How about are _firearms_ commonly used. Using the SCOTUS idea of common use, many firearms would fail that, as we would need to determine how many of each are sold and owned, making any that aren’t “common” illegal. SCOTUS, just read the 2A. Where does it speak of “common use”? Where does it even mention _firearms_? It states _arms_, and that the RKBA shall not be infringed.

What probably happened is that one of the lawyers used the common use thing, because of past precedent instead of being an American and just using the 2nd A. It could be a slippery slope.

Maybe (I’m just spit ballin’ here) ‘Common Use’ is just one of the Treasonous Bastards CATCH PHRASES’ like Climate change, ‘It’s for the children’, Trumps a NAZI, ‘Affordable Housing’ ‘DEMOCRACY!’ they whine!
…anything they say now is for TOTAL CONTROL and TOTAL DISARMAMENT.

Some Anons are suggesting the ‘Midterms’ cold be it! THERE WON’T BE ANY MIDTERMS! (then they subtly back track and say ‘VOTE EARLY! WE NEED TO CRUSH THE DEMONCLASS !’ -----um? which is it then?)

If Trump really does clear Congress (I mean totally friggin’ wipe it clean), the Supremes may sweat a little bit then.

Whatever the outcome NEVER GIVE UP YOUR GUNS!

- **National Shooting Sports Foundation (NSSF)**: Industry data estimates there are **30.7 million** AR-15s, AKs, and similar rifles in circulation as of 2022/2023, with some reports suggesting the number is likely **over 32 million** today.

- ‘COME AND TAKE THEM!’ 🇺🇲

“Common use” is not in the Constitution, It is the simple “the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed.” that is the Constitutional standard. A fly swatter or an artillery piece are both covered.
