On occasion I scream in bed when I’m with my wife - especially after a few rounds with the boys. Passion is not only for my guns. I digress. If the Democrats can’t see that Joe is past it then I don’t know what else could convince them. They are hanging on to straws IMHO. I don’t wanna bring up Kamala … but …

We saw the exact behavior with mom mother in law. Calm lucid conversation and out of no where angry yelling rants about something from hours, days or weeks ago.

Random angry outbursts are a very clear symptom of dementia. I would feel very sorry for him if his puppet masters weren’t using him to implement their authoritarian agendas.
The problem is that unless they are watching his speeches live (does anyone other than reporters and politicians’ aids do that?) the majority of Democrats will never see these out of control behaviors. They don’t fit into the agenda so they will not be reported on if at all possible. The problem for his puppet masters is that his aberrant behavior is now so common it is getting very hard to cover up. I think the vast majority of Democrats want someone else to run for President but they will happily take a demented Biden over the prospect of 4 more years of Trump. They will take Biden over Trump even knowing the probability that Kamala Harris will have to finish his term. Everyone but the puppet masters hates the thought of Harris being President. The Dems just hate the thought of Trump more.

I do feel sorry for the poor old guy. He should be at home playing with his grandkids. Instead his wife and his puppet masters are parading him in front of the public and he is making a fool of himself. If he is reelected he will surely pass away without ever knowing the joy of retirement. He has no idea what he is doing. He is just going along with what he is told to do. They should let him just retire and enjoy his grandkids and his ice cream. I know that it won’t happen

Joe’s too old to hold office – 80. But, the belief of many politicians is that they can and should hold office for life. 80 is the new 40 for this delusional band denying the realities of aging past relevance and competence.
Consider, however, that Donald Trump is 77, which means that the likely contestants for the highest office in the land will be octogenarians, both utterly disconnected from the majority of the society they seek to rule.

It’s been my contention that the BEST people never choose or are never chosen to run for political offices, even at the local level. The alternatives - are twits, gas-bags, demagogues, thieves, liars, perverts, and do-nothings - and we always seem to have the “choice” of the lesser-of-two-evils - i.e. - the candidate that can do us the least damage. Individuals who could bring us real reforms or constructive legislation don’t want the intense scrutiny, or intrusions into their private lives. You can add in the abandonment of core values and adherence to the “good-old-boy” establishment, too. Popularity contests belong back in high school, for prom elections.

I wouldn’t let Biden off the hook. While like most politicians he is being controlled and manipulated he is also fully complicit in his actions.
While he may no longer know where he is and what he is doing much of the time I am quite sure that in his rare lucid moments he is thinking how he needs to maintain control as long as possible in order to avoid the risk of himself and his family paying for the decades of corruption they all have been involved in. It also doesn’t hurt that he can keep adding to family coffers as long as he stays in office. He isn’t mentally capable of doing the usual presidential retirement plan of profiting from consulting and continued influence peddling after he leaves office.
Plus just how hard is the job for him? Sure every once in awhile he has to get on a fancy plane and fly somewhere to waive at some people and try to read a couple words off a teleprompter. Occasionally his handlers drag him to a desk so he can sign some papers he never read. Mostly he gets to hang out with his family and eat all the ice cream he wants. Unfortunately for him he is too infirm to take advantage of all the free golfing our last couple presidents got to do.

You pretty much hit the nail on the head here. Believe me, I wouldn’t let him off the hook either. He was a crook long before he was president. I pity him, because like Sinbad said, his wife loves her position more than she loves him. She is more interested in being the first lady than she is in his health. I’m quite sure that SHE has him holding on to enrich the family bank account. Feeling sorry for him doesn’t mean that I have any respect for him.

The biggest fear this guy has is being, well, Normal, like you and I. Imagine after 40+ years of people kissing your butt and the ground you walk on, Power at your finger tips, you had to be, well be normal. Like get into your Vette and drive to the package store and pay out of your wallet for the bottle of Beam. He’s scared chitless that one day he’ll wake up and and have to dress himself, cook his own meal, clean his own toilet, you know like the rest of us do.
