Now my opinion…
Thus the Electoral College and separate arms of government. I don’t like arguing we are a democracy. A democracy will ultimately fail just as soon as someone is suddenly the majority and thus “ruling” the minority factions. Just take a look at Britain, Germany, France, Eastern Europe, etc., etc… That is why it is so critical that younger people take and understand Civics. We aren’t like any other country on purpose.
