I’m guessing this is what you need:
That would work … assuming it could be connected to the camera system.
But I was thinking more along the lines of a rottweiler that could be let loose by the system.
Of course, there’s still the problem of disposing of the body…

I think you need wild pig farm… especially hungry ones.
Ah. The Hannibal Lecter solution…
I have cameras outside and in the home. My house cameras and alarm system are hard wired. My cameras outside are WiFi. Here in AZ and CO we are finding TDA and other gangs are using WiFi jammers before entering, therefore given the level of technical expertise of the gangs anymore it is my belief that you have to have hard wired back up ( in case the cut the power, and lock on Electrical box) for as much back up as possible. I grant access only to my adult children and 1 neighhbor when I am away.
I have 3 camera systems My own with 2 TB of downloaded info, Eufy ring doorbell, and 2 outside 1 front 1 rear cameras and Brinks home security. I have all connections to my laptop and cell and 3 people have connections to them all too. One doesn’t live with us as this person works for the DOD, but has instant access to everything and I share with the local Police. Some hardwired some WiFi.

Tactics and training are the most important thing to know( besides shooting accuracy) Getting into your vehicle is one of the times you are very vulnerable.
Welcome David
Do you know of a way to train for that? Besides situational awareness.
Great Question. I wish I had the definitive answer. My only suggestion is what I’ve been taught as a cop is “keep your head on a swivel” Just try to ad it to your daily habits of driving. I wish I could of had a better answer.
