My sister and B-I-L are in their 80’s. On the road to the cemetery yesterday some jackwagon tried to run her off the road. When that didn’t work he blocked the entrance to the cemetery with his car.
Sis made a bootleg turn and burned rubber all the way to the highway with the jackwagon in pursuit and finally lost him in the traffic.
I’m glad she didn’t have a heart attack!
Odd stuff has happened the past few times that I’ve visited the same cemetery.
Stay safe out there!
I suggest a dash camera, or even better, two channel dash camera (or two separate ones, one front and one rear). Call police, report vehicle make model color and occupancy plus direction of travel to the police, ideally with plate number also, and then give them the video footage.
Well phrased! Sometimes we haven’t done anything wrong, and sometimes we just don’t realize what we did. Either way, it didn’t justify the response she got.
Long time ago, I was still firearm rookie, unaware, without any situational awareness habits.
I was driving not good looking Dodge Neon and several times was surprised that I was taken by somebody else in certain parts of Chicago. Thx God I survived my imprudence and took a huge lesson.
That, what happened to @John292’s sister might be exactly the same. Wrong place in wrong time. Wrong jackwagon’s thinking…
