Well, if these “Assault Weapons Bans” go thru, one of the shotguns that can be kept are the ones that hold two 
rounds, exept the one with the cylinder, nor the one with the folding stock, nor the one with the handle that can be held with the non-shooting hand (BANNED) but the rest of them according to these bills are legal to own.

Have there been any states that have banned pump action? For me a shotgun has always been my firearm of choice when hunting rabbits, squirrels or fowl and never really considered them as the weapon of choice for criminals. The pistol grip bans are stupid, I personally don’t like a pistol grip on my rifle or shotgun, but that is personal preference due to years and years of hunting where I am used to holding long guns a particular way and the pistol grip just feels unnatural. Probably because I am right handed but left eye dominant so for 40 years I have held my rifles a specific way.

I don’t think that my shoulders would like much shotgun shooting, and pistol shotgunning seems worse, but I absolutely love my 22M pump rifle from Henry. Petite flower, I suppose.

Yes, the pump action shotgun is also legal to have. Here in NM, SB 279 GOSAFE bill is still in legislation, yet not knowing specifically by models of semiauto are on the shopping block because the bill is vague, but on the last session they brought in the Illinois assault weapons ban bill to replace SB 279, and after discussing it within the committees, decided to withdraw it and stick to the original SB 279 bill and try to tweak it by changing/adding an amendment, so just waiting to see what they present on Friday’s Senate Judiciary session. None of 9 States that is said that “Assault Weapons Ban” was a success is FALSE, with Courts still pending, lawsuits filed, with these tyrant States still thumbing their noses at the Supreme Courts ruling. And these are what these NM, CO, legislators are doing playing “monkey see monkey do” with what Illinois is doing, instead of bringing real solutions that really work that will stop violent crimes across the States/Country. GUNS DON’T KILL, it’s ill behavioral minded people who have no respect for human life who will use whatever means of “ASSAULT WEAPON” to commit violent crimes, be it hammers, knives, bats, chains, ropes, scissors, screwdrivers, rocks, bricks, automobiles, GUNS “AH—GUNS” LETS GO AFTER GUNS!!! And there you go!!! The RKBA being ATTACKED!! GUN CONTROL, except GOVERNMENT and MILITARY. Guns for me BUT NOT FOR

I just posted a picture of this on another thread. I went to a local three gun match and there were two guys who were killing it in the shotgun stages. I put one on layaway immediately when I saw the gun store had one. Rock Island Armory VR-80. Just like the Anaconda I had to have it. I’ll be picking it up tomorrow.
