Sight Picture and Shooting Accuracy

How fast do you reestablish sight picture after each shot?

It really depends on the range and conditions. Typically I can turn in splits around .21-.35 between 3 and 21 feet with very acceptable accuracy on the range and a bit faster running high on adrenaline still maintaining decent defensive accuracy but I’m not going to win any kind of competitive match shooting 4-6" plates because I’d have to slow down to maintain that kind of accuracy.

I’d say the more important thing for most people to focus on is learning to cover/conceal their draw and get to a sub 1.5 second draw to accurate first shot.

Generally in a fight it’s the person that puts the first disabling hit on their opponent that wins the fight.
