BobbyJean, ya got me all wrong. I’m just an old Bible teacher these days. But what you don’t understand is that Dave17 is and has been anti police. I don’t coddle to that.

In two simple words, b*** S***. My bil is a former LEO, I have two friends that were LEOs. I just recognize the attitude. As they say, if the shoe fits.
I will agree, based on where I grew-up, there were definitely some cops (sic) that were total a** h****, but that was only a few of the numerous I knew and met. I worked night shift at a convenience store when I was young. so I met all the officers that worked in the area. Most were nice, but like any profession there are some like you, full of yourself, and can be bastards to those they believe to be beneath them.
One night, mid-winter I met one of those. He tried as hard as he could to intimidate me, as I was young and coming back from a club. The LEOs in that area were well-known to be a** h****, and he did not disappoint. It was at most 30° F outside, and having just come from the club w was not wearing my winter coat. He had me do all the sobriety tests, and since I was the DD, I hadn’t been drinking, so I passed all the tests. He claimed that he did not have a breathalyzer on him, and insisted I take it, but wait outside the vehicle. He saw I was freezing, but refused my request to get my coat.
He then began questioning me about where I was coming from and going to, etc., while being right in my face, trying really hard to intimidate me. He then asked me where I worked. I told him I worked for the IRS, which by then I did. You should have seen his face. He literally took a step back and changed his demeanor completely, but still insisted I wait to do the breathalyzer, even at point he admitted that he believed I was sober.
Of course, I blew a zero. You remind me of him in your posts here. He, too, lost. The funniest part that my girlfriend’s friend was completely toasted, and pulled-up behind. Since he did not observe him driving, he couldn’t arrest him, and another friend that was sober drove his car. 
That was likely one of the reasons he was being such a complete a** h***. He deserved the humiliation he got that night.

Amen. I KNOW THAT YOU HAVE THE POWER TO CHANGE HIS MIND HERE AND NOW ALL THE TIME ON THE JOB. YOU KNOW HOW TO NOT MAKE DAVID 17 anti Law enforcement. And show him how much THE LORD IS TO YOU AS WELL AS OUTHERS you had the AUTHORITY THEN AND NOW WITH THE WORD OF THE LORD , Be the one cop that , showed David that every thing he feels is wrong and both of you seem to care about teaching OUTHERS stand taller Brothers Truly God bless you BOTH BOBBY JEAN Amen we do Not Need to agree. I have not seen any post by David17 that is anti-police. He’s Just pointing out ONE behavior of an individual here that he disagrees with. He’s well within his right to do so.
In my case I’m 100% pro police and military. In decades of interactions with both I’ve had exactly ONE LEO who decide to swing his dick recklessly in front of the wrong guy. I ended his career and he’s now a chapter in his State’s Academy curriculum on how to destroy a career by treating a “civilian” poorly.
