I’m going to bump this thread back to the top because I’ve seen a lot of veterans commenting recently and want to make sure everyone knows about our military/veteran special rate. If you don’t, please give me a PM or give us a call at 855-202-5980 and talk with one of our awesome Member Service Advisors!

Thank you all for your service!

@ES16, thank you to both you and your wife :medal_military::medal_military:

Any idea as to how many veterans that participate in this chat room have been on Honor Flights? Now that Viet Nam era vets are being honored I will be on the November 2, 2019 flight to Washington DC out of Palm Beach International airport.
Also will bring my fathers picture and profile as part of the " Flags Of Our Heroes" ceremony honoring deceased WW 2 veterans.
Enjoy the July 4 holiday. Best, Patrick

Honor flights was in our little hometown parade yesterday

Patrick, your going to enjoy the full experience. It is a very long day starting @ around 5:00 a.m. flight to Washington, D.C. (with a water cannon send off by the local fire department) and from the time you land it’s go go go to the various Memorials. Then a break for a nice lunch hosted by the Knights of Columbus then back to a hectic finish of all the Veterans Memorials in D.C. Your Honor Flight maybe one of many from around the country in D.C. on the same day. You then fly back to your originating airport at around 8:00/9:00 p.m. with a head full of memories.
I found meeting and talking to other veterans about their experiences most rewarding.
I was a Guardian (in case you are unaware a guardian is an escort assigned to the veteran for the day and each vet get his/her own guardian) for a WWII Honor Flight and I myself am a Vietnam era veteran, but did not go to Nam. I went to the middle East (Iran).
I assure you it will be an unforgettable experience. You deserve all the days accolades you will receive on that day. ENJOY
