Should we be able to buy what we want?

Yeah the ATF should be Legislated .. Down side is if you wait for congress it might no longer be necessary.. The event they were trying to stop will have happened.. They move to slow or not at all… If heads of department were ACTUALLY held accountable for their actions … Just maybe they would be less likely to walk all over our rights…
I agree they should not make their own rules " LAWS " … Congress should legislate guidelines for them to follow… If they make their own justice, it is at their own peril… There needs to be room for them to move quickly …Put someone’s head on the block, with jail time if you over step…

The Tax Stamp in essence makes the ATF your Dominatrix Mistress … You pay them to Violate You…

Basically anything that is NOT specifically stated in Federal law is open for an EO change.

Absolutely when the 2nd Amendment was written those living within the newly formed borders of the United States could own every weapon the Government could own. I am of the firm belief if you can afford the weapon, you should be able to own that weapon. Including Fighter Jets, Tanks, Warships and even Nuclear Weapons. Why should we citizens be at the mercy of our Government? And why should our Government be able to out weapon their citizens, only a Tyrannical Government needs to fear its citizens.

You can have access to any of these weapons depending on what branch of military service you join and position you qualify for, “BE ALL YOU CAN BE”. Government trained, you get paid, get to handle any of those items for as long as you remain active duty, even get to retire!!! Become a “LIFER” and you’re all set!! WIN-WIN!! Won’t cost you anything, just your time and willing to defend your Country!! :+1:

Constitution does not say join the military to have access to the weapons the Government posseses.

TRUE, but civilians could never own these types of weapons. :smiling_face_with_tear: :sob:

A nuke would be nice. I wouldn’t want too big of a nuke. No need to get carried away; one just big enough to take out pesky neighbors.

Why not? If Lockheed Martin was willing to sell you an F-16 and you had the financial means why should you not be able to buy one? I do not think the Government who relies on the private sector to build their weapons should be able to limit the ownership of them. If the Government wants to lock it down, they should make everything themselves.

We sell those weapons to places like Saudi Arabia … If I remember right most of the people on 9/11 were Saudi nationals … So we can’t have them ? Why??? I can think of a couple people here, I would not let have them they are :chestnut: :chestnut: :chestnut: :chestnut:

I just don’t know about some people…

From The Peacemaker, 1997, with George Clooney and Nicole Kidman

  • Thomas Devoe: Doctor, you can run your charts and your theories all you want. In the field, this is how it works: the good guys, that’s us, we chase the bad guys. And they don’t wear black hats. They are, however, all alike: they demand power, and respect, and they’re willing to pay top dollar to get it. And that is our highly motivated buyer.
  • Julia Kelly: What about other motivations?
  • Thomas Devoe: Not important to me.
  • Julia Kelly: Whether it’s important to you or not, there are people out there who don’t care about money, who don’t give a damn about respect. People who believe the killing of innocent men and women is justified. For them it is about rage, frustration, hatred… they feel pain and they’re determined to share it with the world.
  • Thomas Devoe: Okay, that does me no good. Now let’s deal with the facts at hand. 23 hours ago, General Alexander Kodoroff stole ten nuclear warheads.
  • Julia Kelly: He’s just a delivery boy. I’m not afraid of the man who wants ten nuclear weapons, Colonel. I’m terrified of the man who only wants one.

Yes, and we should be able to sell what we want as well.

He’s certainly tried to.

I feel that when it comes to grenades the line should be drawn. It only takes one pull to kill many and unlike guns you cant shoot them before they pull the trigger as it continues to go even if you’ve killed the person.(and yes this includes going up to bombs and nukes.)
