49ers rookie Ricky Pearsall released from hospital after being shot in the chest in San Francisco robbery attempt:

I don’t know about other jurisdictions but, in NYPD they linked Robbery & Homicide together as one unit as oftentimes one lead to the other.

Regardless of the cooperation of the victims they might still be murdered senselessly / gratuitously to prove that they had the stones to their fellow hoodlums.

You need to be prepared to defend your life during a robbery as it might not end well.

Including flat black mat finish on weapons,

no nickel plated, sissy pistols with pearl grip(s),

Or, guns tricked out to look like a toy,

or bling-bling / swag.

Be that “gray guy.” I got a head start with gray hair.

Nothing that stands out as memorable, especially anything that says this dude has money to burn.

There was a physical altercation so Pearsall must have chosen fight instead of flight.

According to the San Francisco police, the suspect is a 17-year-old Tracy resident

The minor is in custody. Doesn’t this incident remind us of a recent thread discussing one’s reaction to an attack perpetrated by underage thugs?

A pro NFL player is not a pushover, they are in top physical condition and athletic, and trained in contact sports, until that punk used his equalizer, it was likely no contest.
