Another state legislature trying to restrict the rights of individuals old enough to sign up for the military to fight for our country. Hopefully the Governor stops it.

We have a very āMarxianā legislature this year. Jauregi is so far left she is in danger of falling off the earth and thatās hard to do since it is round and has gravity. Sheās not the only one, either. Weāve been āCalifornicatedā for years and it shows. As for the surveys, it depends on whom and how you ask. And, I still donāt believe "gangstasā " fill out 4473ās. Hope Gov. Lombardo stops it in its tracks like he did last legislative session.

One more thing few pay attention to is location. Canāt remember the source but it stated that most gun crimes are committed in very small areas of several big cities. Look at the number of shootings in Chicago for instance. The issue isnāt the whole city, but a very small section of the city. Yes, we know why, and not going to address these here. My issue is simple, if itās not a problem where I live or you live, leave us alone. The anti 2A crowd loves this because of numbers and how they statistically want to apply it to the whole, when in reality it belongs to less than 1/10 of 1% of the state. If these numbers were isolated based on the locations their argument falls apart.

Here we go again. The Liberals just donāt seem to understand that itās not an age thing itās a GANG thing. There are more young people in our country that ARE responsible and CAN be trusted with a firearm than there are gang members. The Liberal media are the ones who sold out when they changed the āgangā violence tagline to āgunā violence.

I found it interesting how the article, with a careful use of words, basically equated every semiautomatic gun with now being an āassaultā gun.
Like Mike mentioned, maybe in a different thread, control the wordsā¦ The gun grabbers are definitely masters at controlling the words.
High capacity magazines, assault rifles, gun violenceā¦ now theyāre working on turning the word āsemiautomaticā into the next scary word.
Edit to add, āgas operated,ā thatās their new super duper scary word, and now states are trying to ban gas operated guns. Who TF cares what action a gun has??? Gas, recoil, so what?

A very true statement.
They certainly have no clue about anything that pertains to guns. My guess is the vast majority of them have no idea that āsemi-automaticā includes probably 90% of all of the firearms sold today. They just blindly assume that it means the same as āmachine gunā. Except of course for the ones that really DO know what it means, and are using their percieved ignorance to schieve their ban on all guns.

āresearch by common sense Americansā shows that 99% of all gun homicides are committed by criminals. With a large portion of those criminals having already been before some bleeding heart liberal judge that cut them loose earlier.
America has a criminal AND judicial problem. Not a gun problem.

I donāt think the gun grabbers have thought this gas-powered thing through too well. The Chinese fireworks rockets observed by Marco Polo were gas-powered as was the Brown Bess musket. Living things, both plants and animals on this planet, rely on either CO2 (for photosynthesis) or O2 for aerobic metabolism. In their immediately usable form both are gases. WE are gas powered! In order to better understand this, perhaps the anti-gunners should experiment by going without O2 for about 5 minutes. That should make the point.

The only way to stop the criminal element of our society is to go back to the days when we actual prosecuted crimes.
Raising the age limit will stop nothing.
