So are there signs on the doors that say “No Guns” or are you people guessing. Are we supposed to not support these stores? I carry a gun but it doesn’t rule my life.

Each person must make their own decisions.

If a company does not want you to carry in their stores (and here it may cause some in this community grief and aneurysms…), it is their right to NOT allow you to carry. Our right to carry ends at their doorway… however, if they allow us to carry, great.

If they do not, each can choose to support that company as much or as little as they want. You can decide to take your money to other businesses… or patronize the business that does not allow you to carry. While some might suggest not giving any business to those who refuse to allow people to carry, they are not dictating it as a requirement, it is still your choice.

There are some businesses I must patronize that do not allow firearms, and I secure my firearm in my vehicle, conduct the business I am there for and return to my vehicle and rearm. The same as at a post office or the courthouse. Most businesses that are no gun, if I do not need to conduct business there, I go to a more friendly environment, but you must decide for yourself, and any list is good to provide information…

But, as with all lists, it is subject to error. Walmart (Chinamart) does not have a ban on carry, they put out a request that there be no ‘open carry’, but I still sometimes see it. That is around where I am, and I am not sure what Walmarts are doing in Oklahoma, Texas, or any other state

Walmart donated and supported Black Lives Matter and have sold products to support, and have pulled other products that Conservatives might agree with or support.

Not a fan of Walmart, except they do have better prices on some things, and not all of us are J. Paul Getty or a Rockefeller, though I try to limit what I purchase there.

But, not a fan of most larger stores these days as many bow to the terrorists.

But, Walmart put out a statement asking for no open carry, they still allow concealed carry and I have seen some open carry and they were not asked to leave.

I live in SC as well and always carry concealed into Wal-Mart, for as often as I go in there, and have never had a problem yet. The last I knew the law in SC was that any signs had to be visible 8 1/2 x 11 on a white background, clearly posted.

Oh yeah, I think you’re talking about Kyle Rittenhouse. Sad situation! Oregon has some messed up laws lately. I try to keep up as much as possible with other state’s laws, particularly here on the East Coast because I do quite a little traveling in the course of a year. Just out of curiosity, if you don’t mind me asking, and if you do that’s OK, where in South Carolina do you live? You don’t have to be too specific.

That’s awesome! I live in the Upstate too! Greenville to be exact. Maybe our paths will cross somehow. I have lived here for 9 years now and I love it here. I moved here from North Carolina and their Democrat governor, Roy Cooper, is rdidculous.

1. They turned their back on Kyle Rittenhouse (who was using a gun to defend himself).

2. CEO Evan Hafer donated to Obama, Gabbard, and Act Blue, which are all anti-2A.

Pretty sure there is a BRCC thread on here with more details and links, but…

#1 has some merit, there are lots of opinions on that whether you think they are required to support Rittenhouse or not

#2 Hafer has said on more than one interview that Obama was a bet he lost and the person he bet with made him do it and he made a corresponding opposite donation to some conservative group (you can look him up as donations are all public info). Gabbard is actually pretty solid, her haters call her “right wing”. Act Blue processes donations not just for Dems but a great many organizations. So if you’ve ever donated to something like the ASPCA odds are you’ve donated through Act Blue.

Are they up for critique? sure. But I would not go so far as to say they are anti-2A. Just my $0.02 YMMV

Do I think companies should be required to stand on it? Absolutely NOT. However, when your customer base, branding, etc…is mostly 2A or Military, you should stand behind your words and your actions should show that.

Yeah, he passed it off as that - and whether or not I believe him is up for debate, but then why keep donating to blue causes if blue is anti-gun?
