SCOTUS Ruling On Tariffs

This despicable ruling is another EXACT example of why we need term limits for judges and politicians - no more interference in our rights and economic issues. CASE CLOSED.

I get your pain, but…seems to me that they followed the law. The same situation will just be implemented through a different/legal means. Many ways to skin a cat.

As long as members of Congress remain more loyal to party than to the people, and remain unwilling to actually do the job they were sent to Washington to do, policy will be made by the executive and judicial branches. This isn’t how it was designed, and George Washington directly warned against party over country loyalty, but it’s how it is now.

Because of Congreses’ ineffectiveness, the system is very broken and very messy.

Proof that the Don isn’t a king.

As mentioned, the tariffs will be re-implemented via other laws and statutes, hopefully taking a closer look at each country individually, which is how I felt it should have been done initially.

Especially in a midterm year. They can’t and won’t do anything when there isn’t an election. I say fire them all or atleast go to a every other year sessions like what some states do. They dont do anything, why keep paying them?

If we don’t have term limits it works in our favor if they do stick up for our rights. Always look on the bright side of life.

Ask the DHS employees who aren’t getting paid right now how the govt is protecting them. Old school politicians do not work together. They made their millions, they dont care about the average American

Absolutely correct. Most of them only care about staying in power and making themselves rich at our expense. There are few exceptions!

Like Stevie Wonder says, “ there’s good in bad in everyone when we learn to live and learn to give each other what we need to survive together alive”.

WHAT have I posted in the past? PUBLIC service has deteriorated into SELF-service, and politics has long been the road to riches. How ELSE can a $100K salary magically transform itself into a million-dollar home?

Very few.

Why do you think Trump does what he does? Sometimes I think he does stuff, that he knows will cause issues, to force congress to do their jobs. Im not a big tariff guy but I am on board with what he’s doing. Congress could have fixed this issue years ago. Instead, all they do is committee hearings, investigations and then nothing.

Worthless bastards that dont do anything except vote in their own pay raises

In a perfect world Robert, I agree. Some of us live in reality

That is why we have to have good public servants and keep them in there. G-d is watching over us.

Look at this way. Chief Justice roberts is a politician more than a judge. Politically, he has to give a loss to Trump. It was a weak act that Trump used for tariffs and roberts knows that and that Trump will just use a more suitable path. Win for roberts in the eyes of the left and a win for Trump to use a stronger path for his agenda.

Personally, im more interested in the birth citizenship and the gerrymandering cases.

Maybe we should find some good politicians vs just keep voting in the same crap every election cycle. Just a thought….

My reality is be positive. The negative of a negative is a positive.

That is a positive thought. Don’t worry if you have a negative reply I will be negative of it.

Guess it just depends on your political beliefs. I personally dont see anything positive coming out of the swamp. Give me both chambers filled with people like Markwayne Mullin and I’ll be positive as hell. That’s just my belief though

I look at it from an ecological perspective. The swamp is the ecosystem for the landscape. Politics is not my thing unless we are talking about a specific issue.

I feel the swamp is the ecosystem of the wealthy donors. No reason why a senate or congressional races should be in the 10’s of millions for the campaign.

Its not for the people anymore. Most are stupid to actually do due diligence in looking at a candidate, they just go off commercials and campaign talk.

Ask the folks in NYC about mamdani after his new tax hike plan.
