This is a video from presidents day. Our son was on his way to class when the liberal socialist attacked. He doesn’t show up on the video but admitted there was plenty of pushing and shoving around him. The future of the Constitution is in his generations hands sadly not many have his upbringing and beliefs

It truly seemed more than a few of them, if given half a chance would have gladly taken up a weapon to ‘get their point across’ in the moment. And the real consideration is this: the attacks with fluids is, in the eyes of the law, assault.
The difficulty I’d have running security in those moments is: when does one of antagonists decide throwing ‘a bit of acid or base’ is just what the moment needs? The general crowd, they don’t realize just how close to anarchy their mindset places them. The anarchist is just waiting for opportunities like these to spark the fire.
What the response of the primary, and the folks around her doesn’t express is just how at risk she was. And I’m nearly certain any medical response kit (if brought) wasn’t packed with counter agents. Think on this one people, chemical attacks are prominent in the handbook of provocateurs. Terrorist or jilted lover, anyone can get their hands on very nasty chemicals which are common household supplies. And there are more concentrated/quickly effective agents available without more than the cost of a thought.

The division in this country seems to be getting worse. The constitution is being subverted by many politicians, and some either don’t realize it or don’t care.
Sometimes I feel like I need to teach people around me the constitution.

Those students were rude, crude and socially unacceptable. Assaulting her character, seems like they’d like to assault her, and she and her companion were the most reasonable people in the crowd. Those kids are an embarrassment to their generation.

Unfortunately, the U encorages this behavior, under the guise of Free Speach. Assault, threats, tantrums have become customary on campuses. Thats what passes as debate for academia.
If things were sane, parents would demand the troublemakers are kicked out of school, along with radical professors, or else not a $ more paid for that travesty of education.

Being in le, I would have arrested anyone and everyone who threw anything at them. Assault is assault, even spitting is an assault. I can’t believe that us veterans actually serve and fight to give these idiots the right to speak,

You would be fired, reprimanded or forced out of the job. LE has been infiltrated by nasty politics and leftism, just look at videos of antifa rampaging on and off campus while police stand and watch.

That video is just under 40 mins and I see students that were present the whole time. What college kid has 40 mins of free time to stand around in a mob? 40 mins could be work, eat, and or sleep.
Those students didn’t strike me as having much thought about the freedom we enjoy coming at the expense of those who’ve served their country; they did seem glad for the freedom to shoot off their mouths. If you enjoy your freedom, thank a vet.
Depends on your department I guess, where I am employed we are backed 100% as long as we acted legally and ethically.
And now they want FREE college? And to write off their student debt?
