RO makes a bad judgment call

The incident should have been handled by the school principal and the child’s parents, he adds.

That would be the best solution for sure.

100% correct. This is just another example of political correctness insanity at its finest.

I got in trouble my one and only time in school for doing this in the 2nd grade!

While I did not catch a felony…

I did haft to stamp “TO THE PARENTS OF” on thousands of envelopes for two days.

Sounds like “THE PARENTS OF” need to go see a fine lawyer!

No penalty for giving someone the MIDDLE FINGER, though…

Not yet as least @2A-Patriot . Probably cause the bird is usually pointed at the ceiling and not directly at the snowflake. If you take aim with it and they feeeeel threatened, (especially not knowing if the finger is actually loaded or not) watch out. Will be a hate crime at least and they may even have to confiscate the finger.

Correct! Many, not all, but many ROs are not employed by school districts and therefore operate outside the school’s chain of command. It looks like this RO acted on his own without input from the building principal. That isn’t to say the principal would have done the right thing. I’ve seen them screw up royally also.
