Remington Ultimate Defense - Full Size Handgun?

I stepped into an LGS that I don’t go to very often and picked up a couple of things, one was this

I didn’t notice at the time that it explicitly says “FUUL SIZE HANDGUN”. I don’t own a “Full Size” .380 so I have to ask, do I dare shoot these through my Springfield 911 micro? I’m not sure what the difference would be, maybe something similar to the +p thing?

Is there a California warning :warning: on the other side of the box for idiots not to use in non full size handguns?

That’s new packaging for the ammo they have been selling for YEARS!!! They do that for pansies that will call customer service to say the recoil is too harsh. “Well we warned you on the box to only shoot out of a Full Size Handgun.”

I carry those in my PM9. They cycle at 100% and are very accurate in that gun. It doesn’t get much smaller than the PM9. Hell that’s my pocket gun.

Actually, being 124 gr. will improve the cycling in most handguns.

I can’t speak to this particular ammo but some self defense ammo that was designed specifically for full size handguns has been shown in testing to not perform as designed in pistols with shorter barrels. Shorter barrels usually lead to lower velocities. If the velocity is below the design specifications for the bullet it may not expand reliably and or might penetrate too much or too little.

I’d watch the Remington autoloaders because they just can’t make them worth a crap. Their last batch none of them worked .
