Even if you only exposed your gun without drawing, if you used your gun to dissuade a miscreant, remember to call 911 right away to report the incident. Believe it or not, there have been cases where the bad guy called 911 to report “someone threatened me with a gun.” As I have heard in formal training, cops and prosecutors tend to give the benefit to the first to call 911 as the victim.
