These proposals are a look at the future - I’m not saying that the guns we have now are BAD, but they could be much BETTER, especially since the FED is bound and determined to make our money as worthless as possible. MORE WIDESPREAD USE OF CRYO-QUENCHING: This process should extend from barrels to ENTIRE actions - hammers, triggers, slides, rails, and lockwork parts. It’s been PROVEN to have hidden benefits - as it alters and improves the molecular structure of steel, it also relieves built-up stresses from manufacturing, for example. MORE WIDESPREAD USE OF POLYGONAL RIFLING, and MORE WIDESPREAD USE OF MELONITE AND CERAKOTE FNISHES ON REVOLVERS. These finishes are not just coatings - they bond hard to a steel’s SURFACE to create rock-solid protection. Polished blue and black chrome are nice if you like your guns shiny, but they should be offered as options. Other features that frost my knickers are the unnecessary, cutesy-fartsy additions to pistols that have crept into them over the years - decockers, grip safeties, loaded chamber indicators, etc. I consider decockers to be inherently DANGEROUS. The ONLY safety that belongs on a pistol is a frame- or slide-mounted THUMB safety. WTF happened to “PRESS-CHECKS” ??? This is the 21st CENTURY, FCS!
