I’ve seen guys miss the entire target with a red-dot mount at this distance which I estimate to be between 5 - 7 yards.

Who over-rates red dots? I’ve seen people miss at 1 yard with iron sights, so what?
Anybody can miss any target at 5-7 yards with any sighting system…anybody who thought they could never miss simply because of what was on top of their gun made a grave mistake.

Now I’m waiting for 2 liter soda bottle with mounted red dot on it. 
Coca Cola should come with green dot to be more visible on red bottles. 
I don’t understand those comments about throwing with two hands. 
Everybody knows that two hands grip is way more precise than one hand grip. This guy should do some research before commenting it.
