Went to Sportsmans Warehouse and yes they had the Mossberg 20 in, 8 shells. pump 12 ga. shotguns for only $199.99. Too good of a price to not get one. When I ask about buying shells, which were advertised at $4.99 a box for #8 they took me to the shelves and has an unadvertised special of $1.99 for a box of Winchester. Budget restricted me to only 2 boxes so ask the family for more at Christmas after I told them about the price. Should have some fun playing with some clay after I am able to pick everything up. Yes, it is Calif. and even with a CCP you have to still wait the dumb 10 days. I can get it on Dec. 14 after 3:04 in the afternoon, but don’t try to pick it up even one minute before that.

I have both sizes of the RIA 1911 and really enjoy playing with them. One is listed on my CCP so I can carry it if wanted.

I picked up the RIA 1911 from sportsmens. I couldn’t pass on that price. I cant wait to go and have some fun at the range with it. Ive already changed the grips and put some glow in the dark sight paint on it to help see the sights.

WORSE, you can only buy brand new handguns if they’re listed on the CA DOJ roster 
And only max three CCW can be listed on one’s permit.

Good Buy for sure. What is the capacity? Mossberg is 7+1. I saw one of these somewhere and do not personally like the hand grip hanging down underneath. Guess I am old school and like a smooth line overall. I think I also read many of the different brands, Mossberg, Savage, and a couple of others are made in Turkey as well as the U.S.

I like a good smooth operation and was impressed with this one. Problem is I have really long arms and have to add a pad on the butt. Gives me the standoff length that aids in comfort and even absorbs the shock so shoulder does not suffer as much after several rounds.

Sounds like you need to move. Ww dont have all that B.S here in Michigan. If you have a cpl you can walk into the store and buy your handgun and leave with it. If you dont have a cpl you just go to the police station fill out the form. They do a quick background and they give you a purchase permit. Then you just go and get your gun. Here you’re not limited to only a few guns listed on your cpl. If its legal to carry it, then you can.

Tried with a grip on the Savage and just did not feel right in my hand and trigger location. Main use will be rabbit control and target/ clay shooting here at the ranch. Can’t forget when the noisy snakes decide they want to be on the steps or lying on the porch in the sun.

Would like to move back to Okla or Tx but it is very complicated as to why not. I keep hoping the northeastern counties separation into the 51st state will go through or a big change in state legislators control. Last election gave a bit of hope for changes for the better.
