Ditto the law abiding citizens who went through the background checks, training and application bureaucracy to possess a CCW permission slip. Yet, government officials consider them to be a threat to public safety and that only government agents should be allowed to carry firearms, especially in sensitive spaces, like airports.
But, hey, that TSA check of IDs and Real IDs mean that terrorists and criminals can never, ever get past the vigilant employees of the TSA. Airports and air travel is 100% safe thanks to the government and that 4th Amendment violating warrantless search everyone agrees to at the airport.
