The bad guy called 911 after the victim was able to defend himself with his hands (Quite risky). Thankfully it appears the police figured out who the was victim on the scene.

Sounds like a terrible situation:

KOTV said the victim tried getting away on his bicycle, but the suspect got into his car and drove after him, hitting the victim’s arm.

I hope the vicitm is ok!

The story tells the tale the Title hints at… if you’re attacked call 911 as soon as possible. It’s entirely possible the criminal/attacker will try calling in first just to get a chance at screwing you over twice and waltzing clear.
