In case you need to hear this….
@Wanda3 first impressions? I’ve been wrong a few times but that’s pretty much spot on.
@BeanCounter
True…sometimes first impressions are about outer stuff but intuition, gut feelings are about energy. Reading energy, totally intuitive, unspoken, just a knowing.
It is grey sometimes figuring out the difference. The older I get the better I get at it. So yes…I’m pretty good at it! Lol
What’s the old term, vibes?
They never fail but only work if I got past charm.
Yes, vibes.
Charming people can mess up the read, but usually if you pay attention, you notice. It’s not really that black and white, it is the grey zone, the foggy place within that blurs the way.
Thats my take. But im still trying to figure out freedom vs loneliness… LOL
So, my favorite mother-in-law passed away last night. I didn’t feel a thing. That is until I started looking at old photos of our family road trips.
Freedom or loneliness?
Sorry for your loss. Choose freedom I think she would want you to have that by the way you feel lonely.
@BeanCounter So sorry for your loss.
New grief, numbness, sadness, ups and downs.
A unique kind of loneliness/ emptiness. Sweet memories, love, relief, shock.
Freedom…came later, for me. Freedom from the painful memories, relief that he was finally at peace. When the memories became love filled, nothing but love and forgiveness, then I have found some freedom. This month is that month for me, almost 5 years later (5 years this Christmas).
Freedom in the grief process is knowing the relationship continues in a different form. One person is home, one is still on the way there.
Praying for you Bean. Let me know if you need to chat.
Sorry for your loss @BeanCounter!
Thoughts and prayers to your family.
Thanks, guys. Realizing that it’s ok to grieve made it a lot easier.
“There is a sacredness in tears. They are not the mark of weakness, but of power. They speak more eloquently than ten thousand tongues. They are the messengers of overwhelming grief, of deep contrition, and of unspeakable love.”
Washington Irving
@BeanCounter Well said. Sending you light…
You have more than one?
Kidding aside, I am sorry for your loss.
Sorry for your loss. Death is the great equalizer in that everyone is going to die. Also one reason I’m a Christian; Jesus promises that we will see our loved ones again if they and we are in Christ Jesus. I don’t know of another religion that promises that.
