Question from a Young Fighter

Last night at the gym one of our young fighters, 15 yo, was called Princess by one of the coaches. That lead to don’t treat your opponent like a Princess blah blah blah. He then turns to a couple of us and asks this question, “If I have sex with a girl that identifies as a boy, am I a homosexual?”
We all kinda went “What The Hell?” than started thinking about it, we couldn’t really come up with a good answer.

I probably would have had to go to my office until I stopped laughing.
But I think the simple answer is no. She can call herself whatever she wants, but the hardware is compatible. Folks are making this way too complicated; I hope it’s a fad that goes away.

Sexually no. Metaphorically yes. Maybe. @Ouade5 had the best answer so I’ll stick with his.

Why do so many people feel the need to spend so much time labeling themselves and/or others these days?

Though since so many people feel they must identify as something instead of just being whatever they are I think the bigger question is what does that make the girl who identifies as a boy but sleeps with a boy? There are several options to consider there.

But in terms of the original question I would agree with @Ouade5 ’s answer of no. Unless the questioning boy was only into girls who identify as boys. That one might need a new letter;)

Do you still have the Beatles White Album? I rest my case.
That fad never went away, this won’t either!
It’s being propagated on the White House lawn!
As was Elvis and the Beatles! Neither of whom brought shame!

Total disrespect!

Really wish this was a meme! It’s not a meme nor a fad. It’s the way things are now! We have to realize, if a 15 year old boy has to ask that question, can’t you see we are doomed?

Not to mention FLAG PLACEMENT!
This used to be the White House, now it’s a whore house! IMHO.

So girl or boy ( opposed to woman or man,) you’re a pervert. Stop asking questions about children.

I think that’s a thing. When we were kids, I was into tomboys. But kids these days have to take things to the next level to show up their parents, I guess.

There are also boys who are into other boys who pretend to be girls. I don’t know what that is… trans-hetero? I don’t know, it’s just easier to pay attention to the hardware and forget about what operating system people think they’ve installed.

I don’t care how people identify. We are all humans. Why would I want to care unless I want to dictate how other people live.

Being homosexual is not s bad thing these days. Sometimes people are proud of it.
As long as other person has opposite to me reproductive organs I’m ok.

That’s was a hilarious question asked at gym. The best would be any hilarious answer. :slightly_smiling_face:

Maybe that’s our problem. Too many adults confusing kids.

“Coach you watch too much porn, not my business what kind”

The coach could also identify as a girl during the sex. That should solve his problem. :no_mouth:

Now I’m confused…

Because they are empty inside. Everything they think, do and are must be externally validated or they don’t exist. They are human-shaped husks searching for something to fill them up, flesh them out, and give them direction.

I’m not sure who the they you are referring to are but I do see this issue in a lot of folks these days from homeless people on the street to rich Wall Street executives.

I think it has always been an issue with some but is so much more prevalent today because our work and lives are so many levels removed and distracted from the necessities in life.

When we all needed to hunt, gather or grow food to keep ourselves and our families from starving it was easy to see what our purpose was. That purpose is harder to connect with and feel fulfilled by when you are getting paid to look at a computer screen all day long.

Don’t be… usually preposterous question in such situations requires preposterous answer…

All those who can only present themselves as a member of some group identity; a club, a cause, an organization, a political stripe, etc, etc. Their affiliation is the first thing they tell you and is (in their eyes) meant to impress you. And you are correct that the phenomenon crosses all boundaries of race, creed, economic status, and national origin.

Agreed. The industrial revolution is, like most things, a two-edged sword. It freed ‘the masses’ from drudgerous labor, but it provided nothing for those incapable of stepping up to the ‘new opportunities’. Having one’s labor be the engine of survival, let alone comfort and prosperity, has a wonderful way of focusing the mind and will.

A man is a man and a woman is a woman, women can love other women and men can love
other men, but the four basic human groups have been around forever… this trans, fryingpan-sexual, I’m a man, but I like gay woman? I’m a woman but I love straight women WHAT? It just gives me a headache… Define me!, Define me?
