Putin is stalling and Trump is angry. It’s time for ‘maximum pressure.’

Good Opinion piece by Mark Thiessen in the Washington Post today, Putin really doesn’t have the cards to be trying to squeeze more out of these Negotiations and Trump is getting tired of his crap.

From the article:

Take the situation on the battlefield. In 2024, Russian forces took a grand total of 1,609 square miles of territory, according to an analysis by the Institute for the Study of War (ISW). That is an area equivalent to about 15 percent of Haiti. Most of the territory captured was composed of fields and small settlements, none holding any strategic significance.

These glacial advances came at a cost of more than 427,000 Russian casualties either killed or wounded in 2024. That is almost twice as many Russian casualties in a single month in Ukraine as the United States suffered over two decades of fighting in Afghanistan. Even pro-Putin Russian analysts admit that the average Russian soldier now survives less than one month on the front lines before being killed.

This is good news … If we let this war continue for 10 to 20 years. We can significantly reduce the number of combatants, Russia will ultimately have we to face us … Now if we can just get China involved… 427,000 is a good start. Just think if we can get China to throw in 1 million a year… Reduce China’s cheap labor force … I see those manufacturing jobs coming back …

One would think that Russia would be more inclined to negotiate considering how much they are spending daily to hold the little ground they have taken and the economic impact it’s having with so many men being sent to war instead of working their factories.

Sadly the unstable mind doesn’t work that way… I am sure their are those present here, that would give valuable insight. Into the innworking of the unstable mind … Donning examples abound … The fear of loss just perpetuates them farther down the proverbial rabbit hole… Used often to justify their actions or beliefs .. Yes the trouble mind is ripe with pitfalls…
Some rooted in “Nationalism” a theological belief, particularly within some Christian traditions, that the saved are not bound by moral laws or the Ten Commandments, taking the principle of salvation by faith and grace to an extreme…

As a result, they yearn after power, status, and wealth as a way of trying to complete themselves. The main drive of their lives is to accumulate, because they feel insufficient.

I really wish they would just end the wars. World is absolutly disgusting right now, and all I can see is our ‘leaders’ trying to murder us and kill mankind. Sorry, no war with russia, ukraine, istael, gaza, yemen, syria, iran. Done with it.

Why do I as an american citizen need to be continually extorted to fund this ■■■■… ???

Different wing of same bird. They want us all dead like in the Deagol report.

Too busy funding wars instead of funding livable american cities, where i now need to purchase insurance to ensure my natural God-given right of self defense.

What a joke. Its all a ■■■■■■■ sick joke on humanity, the entire clown show.

Crap I didn’t miss your post, I liked it shortly after you posted it. I just missed you were new, sorry brother.

Putin doesn’t care about the Russian people. The only thing that will stop him is if the Oligarchs take him out when the economic problems become unbearable. He wants the old Soviet Union back. He thinks Ukraine is part of Russia and it was stolen from Russia, just like China wants Tiawan.

Other countries have other agendas, and goals like Iran wants to obliterate Israel, and is using their many proxies in the region to help achieve their goal.

Go tell Iran that you want them to end their war on Israel.
