Fire starts in man’s Kentucky home. 911 called. Cops show up. Ruh-roh.
All told, man tried to start putting out fire, cops stop him, taze, beat and bloody him and charge him with major felonies.
When cops go to Grand Jury to get all charges processed – Grand Jury drops all charges and charge the cops instead! Lol! One suspended without pay and charged, the other charged and awaiting trial.
Once in a while, our busted system does a good citizen a good turn!
No worries, old Gentleman, you are vindicated and you gonna be rich!
Right, Dial 911 and Die. Thats usually how it goes.
No. It wasn’t a big fire at all.
The cops were lying and saying the homeowner caused them to be exposed to danger so he needed charges.
The Grand Jury said, nope. No charges. You’re getting charged instead. You don’t get to beat people up because you feel like it or because they’re trying to stop a fire in their house. If you went into a burning house – copper, you put yourself in danger all by yourself. Noboy’s fault but yours.
IF you call the Fire Dept. for a fire in your home, your home becomes the property of the FD until the fire is extinguished and the investigation is complete as to origin, cause, etc. as far as I know. PD is not endowed with the same powers.
The fire department wasn’t even there. It was only the cops. And when the elderly fella tried grabbing the hose to spray the fire, the cops lost their minds and pummeled him.
That’s what I was saying. The FD can make him leave to get him out of their way so they can put the fire out- something they have the knowledge and ability to do. The police can make no such claim.
