Go to a 10% flat tax for everyone. This tax would be deducted from payroll each month. Abolish the IRS, FBI, ATF, FERC, EPA. Cut the number of federal workers in the remaining government by 40%. All spending bill would have to be voted on just like a presidential election. Cut Congress pay by 40% and have a legislative term of 3 months per year. All these savings to go to paying off the debt.

We all got what liberal America voted for. Shouldn’t take long for the loyal democrap voters to figure out taxes are more for the middle and lower class workers not the wealthy.

Y’all do realize that Congress WAS only “part time” ( like state legislatures in at least most states) prior to WW2. They would meet for a few months and then go back home to their real jobs. WW2 comes along and there’s a perceived need for congress to be there”full time” to address War issues. Well, they were, and sadly still are 80 years later. Fed tax on phone bills was also a “temporary” measure for the war that’s still hanging around.

Also the congressmen at the end of the war were free of any repayment,and all were dedicated to the job after serving x number of years and the States all elected a COMMITTEE of SAFETY that all stated had to approve of any bill that was on the floor and that continued until Lincoln dis baned them during the Civel War and it was never reinstated,back then the people had full controls of how the GOVERNMENT was ran,wish we still had that system,now all Politicians just want to get elected so they can get rich off the people, and they now have it where they are up for a raise,and the thing is if they don,t vote on it they still get the raise,how do you like those APPLES?
