That’s my first impression when I visited WA. If only NV was as wet.
It is, you just need to dig a little bit deeper.
If you need to clean yourself I suggest ‘Klean Freak’ Towelette’s
(The Jug’s save on individual packet costs)
I’m not livin’ stinky!
Self-care is very important. I should have covered that. Staying clean-staying healthy!
That is the truth Brother.
also if I may:
*Toe/ Finger nail clippers—keep them short, feet clean
- Vicks Vapor rub (keep feet 'Fungus free) works like a
- charm if you wear Good boots for long periods of time
- Fresh socks 'N skivies (Medicated Talc keeps away ‘Crotch rot’).
- Waterless medicated Shampoo/Body Wash. (If you reek the enemy may smell you.
- (it may not be this extreme but I like to be clean as possible)
- Wash basin and scrub board for clothes (may not have 'Lectric’s for a spell.
- Clothesline–to hang out clothes.
Simple stuff we may not think about.
In the Marine Corps basic training we would wash our clothes on a concrete table with a brush and soap. Well water too!
Same here. Africa didn’t have (24) hour Washer/Dryer out sourcing services.
We kept our own dud’s clean most of the time.
Saved us from ‘Vetting’ more locals than necessary. The one’s we did let
in were usually trouble. Didn’t want to add more enemy than we had to.
I made one up with a 5gal. bucket and a plunger with a T-handle on top and store soap, bleach and baking soda and scrub brush inside.
THAT’S FREAKING BRILLIANT Man! I’m making one tomorrow!
(You’re a regular Gennie-Azz brother (nice work too!)
Ahhh… Geee… Thanks.
