Sanitation supplies. How are you going to clean yourself? Your laundry? Your cooking utensils?

Bartering supplies. Bullets, bourbon, precious metals, first aide supplies. Use your imagination. You won’t have everything you need. Your debit card won’t work.

Footware. Get some sturdy boots, then get backups.

Transportation maintenance. Stock some filters, oil, tune up parts, and wear parts for your vehicle.

I would recommend making community #1. If you or your family are injured, you need someone to step in. There are no lone-wolfs except in the movies. Strong communities are the best chance anyone has to survive in a crisis.

Survival; This is what being prepared is all about. the state or fact of continuing to live or exist, typically in spite of an accident, ordeal, or difficult circumstances: survive
The mental state to wanting to live another day.

Maybe, but it may be worthless. 9mm FMJ will retain value either way.

If all goes to h.e.l.l then clean water may well be the most priced possession one can have.

The money is not for “end of world” it’s for more mundane and everyday disasters that are more likely to happen.

Being in Western Washington the availability of water is not that big of a deal. I can dig a eight-foot hole on the ground and get water. At my mom’s house there are natural springs all over the place. I just wish I was in an American free state.
