Photographs of the Birthday Girl

It’s the 4th of July, America’s Birthday, and from the news, the ol’ gal acts like she’s suffering from dementia.
From past experience I’ve learned that going over old family photo albums with the afflicted is something they may find helpful.
In that spirit, I’ll offer you this:

Happy 4th!

Fabulous photos. Amazing how a good photographer can capture the moment, even if it’s done in black and white. Thanks for sharing.

Wow, I love looking at old photo’s, thanks. :+1:

Thanks for the look back … driven by the greatest generation maintaining a common and united cause; united and optimistic for a better life than those who proceeded them.

@John292 >>> SOME OF THE YOUNGER PEOPLE DONT KNOW THAT IT WAS
COMMON FOR A DRUGSTORE TO HAVE A SODA FOUNTAIN. I REMEMBER THE CHOCOLATE & VANILA SODAS TO DIE FOR AND THE HOT FUDGE SUNDAYS WITH WHIPPED CRAEM AND A CHERRY ON TOP. THE OTHER COMMON THING WAS THE METAL CEILINGS AS SHOWN IN THE PICTURES. ps: those metal ceilings were used as a fire Barrier. Originals are valuable antiques.
Thanks For The Memories.
