Holy crap was it enlightening to run around on an open airsoft field shooting at kids (and a few other grownups) with just a 1911 pistol and getting full automatic rifle fire in return!
Non lethal, no realistic loud noises, but damn getting hit stings, and you don’t hear where the shot came from either, which is somewhat realistic.
Plus, some airsoft guns give you blow back action, limited capacity, and drop out magazines for manual of arms training.
Downtown Chicago, inside an old warehouse filled with cars, doorways, and, rooms, paintball with loud music, dim lighting and plenty of blind spots.
