OWB holster

Hello everyone I have the hellcat with a GLS 578 holster and I really like the holster but was wondering how to make the grip closer to my body if it’s possible. I don’t have much of a waist ( 30 in ) and while the grip doesn’t stick out horribly bad I would like to keep the gun from printing so much. I hate doing the inside iwb holsters because I find them very uncomfortable .

If you don’t mind leather and a thumb break, the Galco Fletch angles the grip into the body. I have one for my K9 I am happy with. They list a model for the Springfield Hellcat: https://www.galcogunleather.com/fletch-high-ride-belt-holster_8_4_1118.html

I looked it up and it showed me a paddle holster made by Safariland. If you remove the paddle which I believe you can, it may bring it closer to your body. I can also suggest a nice Kydex pancake holster made by a company called C&G.

Alien Gear Cloak OWB is very comfortable and I’m using it to carry the Hellcats mean older cousin (XDM 10mm). I don’t worry so much about printing, but this holster holds the firearm fairly close to my body. I would imagine that a smaller firearm would print a lot less.

You might want to look into a Clip Draw. It is not a holster, but a clip attached to your slide or frame by a magic adhesive strip similar to the 3M Command series of adhesive strips. I wear mine clipped to the belt between my 1 1/4 inch belt and my pants and the trigger is covered by the belt for safety. It gives you OWB carry with almost IWB level of concealment. I’ve had it on my Sig P938 for about three years now and the adhesive strip is still holding fine. I did have to tighten up the screws from the clip to the metal plate attached to the adhesive. It works for me, don’t know if it will work for you, but give it a look. I’m happy with it.
