Yes sir. Joey comes from a traditional boxing back ground so the kicks are a bit new to him. Kind of an interesting thing with Joey, his wife is a Kenpo Black Belt, she spends quite a bit of time with him working on kicks. Outside of the physical stuff, I work the mental side with him as much as the physical side, stuff like "When you land a hard shot your opponent will be processing it that’s when you immediately fire another combo…
Saw is a master technician. He’s fast. accurate and surprisingly powerful for a lighter weight class guy. The fun part of sparing with him is he has what I call “Gadget Set Up’s” that work really good like he’ll go body body which is a classic set up for a high hook but instead he’ll go low kick… stuff like that…
To be clear, at my age they are a hand full, I survive but seldom do I dominate…
