Online ‘Pedophile Hunters’ Are Growing More Violent — and Going Viral

Key Point from the Article:

In June, a video of the group attacking a man in a Walmart near Albany, N.Y., accumulated more than 35 million views on X. The man, like many who have been targeted, declined to pursue charges, according to a police report. The Times reached out to more than two dozen people targeted by violent pedophile hunters, but none were willing to speak on the record.

There is a reason these people are not filing charges, they are Pedophiles and they know it. I have zero empathy or sympathy for them. People who want to diddle children will never seek help from law enforcement and if they get hurt when trying to commit their crimes, that is their problem. Upside is as long as you don’t kill the pedo, you will probably get away with anything you do to them.

It’s all fun until one of the vigilantes gets hurt.
Or, go full Gary Plauche on the pedo.

Not going to disagree however those are risks I as a civilian am totally fine with other people taking. What I don’t want to see is laws being enacted to dissuade pedophile hunters from doing what they are currently doing because it will protect pedophiles. We have laws already in place to address assault or murder if it happened, it would just require the pedo or their loved ones to file charges if they so wanted too.
