HERE’S a CONSTRUCTIVE way - go after the HUGE black market in stolen guns. Handguns are the most stolen - GLOCKS, HI-POINTS, S & Ws, and RUGERS are the most recovered in crimes. A new gun can fetch TWICE its MSRP on the street, and MORE if it comes with ammo. Now THERE’S a POSITIVE solution, and a real nut-buster for the FBI - notice I didn’t mention more asinine laws?

What are our politicians supposed to do?
For me the fastest way to lower violent crime is to improve the economy, violent crime is always at it’s highest when citizens are dealing with economic turmoil. Several factors are at play here, obviously the criminal element which will always be there struggles harder under hard times. Being a drug dealer won’t pay the bills when addicts are unable to buy your product. Addicts who are unable to hold a job will turn to crime to feed their addiction. Then finally you have the Blue Collar worker who needs to come up with money fast and is completely tapped on credit. Now the Blue Collar worker most likely won’t turn to crime, but they may opt to sell a firearm or two at twice the MSRP as you suggest to get that money.
We all know how to end gun violence, the reason the left won’t do it is because all of their voters would wind up in jail and then can’t help them steal the next election.
