very interesting story here… Opinions???
Good video, thanks for posting.
Oil can be found a depths much shallower deposits than what he states. A recent report issued showed how it is made from many materials, mainly by heat of compression. Don’t remember the full article but was interesting in what had been found to make oil deposits and how quickly it is formed.
As noted at the end of the video … “There is a $ behind almost everything.” Follow the money and the truth is usually discovered. Thanks for posting the video.
The term “fossil fuel” was a marketing slogan used by one of the petroleum companies.
Then folklore, and the uneducated grabbed onto it
That’s right I actually made oil once as an experiment I put some green compost crushed coral and I think charcoal in a steel pipe using a modified log splitter continuous pressure for a month when I let the pressure off and check the steel pipe it was oily want to help me produce this on a larger scale I need investors hahaha
And it’s a slogan that worked. For nice explanation of how it works, search on youtube for “House of Usher lemons” and watch the clip. The whole process is laid out in a few minutes.
I had posted a few links to how crude oil is produced a few months or so back in a couple of other threads - in reply to your comments. The last one has no links to sources, though.
In the video, he stated that one reason it isn’t a “fossil” fuel is because some oil is drilled far below 16,000 feet, which is deeper than any fossils have been found. He also stated that oil can be found near the surface, too (not his exact words).
As far as I read, scientists dont agree on origin of oil, and some believe when natural gas percolates through the mantle, oil reserves can form. If this is true, oil cannot be exhausted.
Rockefeller bribed some people to get oil labeled a fossil fuel so he could get a tax break.
And to convince the public that oil and oil-derived products are a scarce and finite commodity. You know, like De Beers has done with diamonds. That’s what keeps the prices/profits high.
